A guide to Belmont Provincial Park

Prince Edward island is Canada’s abode to barrier islands, sandstone cliffs, sand pits, parks, sand dunes, wetlands, forests and a few amazing beaches. This island holds some of the most awe inspiring landscapes surrounded by beautiful beach fronts and wooden trails. One such Park is the Belmont Provincial Park. Located within the North Cape Coastal Drive touring region, this is a day use only park featuring an unsupervised beach.

Open on all seasons, the Belmont Provincial Park is best known for its white sand and large waves. The beach buzzes with tourists during the spring and winter seasons. During spring, the beach provides ideal condition for surfers to practice their trade. The beach is also home to the Belmont Provincial Park annual beach surfing festival that is held every year.

The park also includes playground equipment, fireplaces, picnic facilities and showers. On the downside, the beach has no supervision. Therefore, parents who take their kids to the park must be extra cautious with them. The beach is picnic Havana during the day. Because it is one of the most secluded beaches of the Provincial Island, tourists take this opportunity to have private picnics and beach parties over here. Pets are permitted on the beach.

Surrounding the beach front is a section of lush bushes with beautiful palm trees that contains trails within the bushes which you can use for hiking. The beautiful white sand of the Belmont Provincial Park is reminiscent of the rich natural habitat that Prince Edward Island houses.
