Red Point Provincial Park

Located at a distance of approximately 10 minutes from Souris, Red Point Provincial Park offers a magnetic view as it overlooks the wide beach with miles of white sand and blue water. The park is situated at the eastern coast of the naturally beautiful island of Prince Edward, Canada. It can be accessed at a distance of 13Km en route 16. The scenic beauty of the park attracts tourists all over the world, as well as locals.

The beach is spectacular, with excellent arrangements for camping. The beach and the campground are usually not crowdie. The campground is immaculately clean. If you are lucky, you may get a site for the camp in the woods, at the bottom of the grassy slope which is just within a few feet from the stretch of sandy beach.

Known for its diversified amenities, like hot showers, clean washrooms, this place is haven for people seeking seclusion amidst nature. You can also pay a visit to the nearest Basin Head Park which is just down the road. You can enjoy taking a jump off the wharf. The fisheries' museum around, is also quite informative.

Swimming is very popular in Red Point Provincial Park under the guidance of supervisors. You can waddle and paddle around to rest your weary legs in the water. Paddling a kayak is also a great activity, loved by many. The campground is especially popular among families. Often, special events and activities for children and families are organized here for the recreational drive.
