Visitor’s Guide to the Stanhope Beach PEI national Park

Prince Edward Island National Park is by far, Canada’s biggest national park. It covers a large eco-system that is filled with rich habitats and amazing marine and wildlife. Prince Edward Island National Park in itself is divided into several sections; one such section is the Stanhope Beach PEI national Park. This amazing camping ground is blessed with lush green wood’s that is engulfed by the wide sand and the blue sea. This quite picturesque beach front provides one the best sunset views. Travelers from all over the globe come here to bathe in the rich sunshine that engulfs the Park throughout the day. The camping area also houses playgrounds for children and resting seats for elders.

The Stanhope Beach PEI national Park offers visitors, guidance tours within the parks woods. Here you will find migrating sea birds and a few local animals. You can also hike through the forest trails or spend time on the various recreational activities within the park. Amenities such as showers, flush toilets, Laundromats and kitchen shelters can be easily accessed. The park also provides a spectacular 8km homestead trail that can be either accessed by hiking or by biking.

The beach also allows private camping in tents. You can avail the service with a special permission from the Park Board. The Park holds certain secluded sections that are not available to the general public. Visitors who tale up these private camping sites, can experience these mystical uninhabited parts of the island. This quite mystical beach will provide you the ideal relaxation you need to rest your tired mind.
