Back in the 19th century, Prince Edward Island was a major shipbuilding hub with Green Park being one of the most active shipyard sites. True to its history, the Green Park Provincial Park still houses the Historic Yeo House and the Shipbuilding Museum. The museum provides a thorough insight on the rich history of Green Park. Located within the North Cape Coastal Drive, this vast wonderland is surrounded with woodland with numerous trails leading towards the beach front and tenting sites that surround the provincial park. Pets are permitted in the Green Park Provincial Park, though on leash. Located within a few miles of the park, you have the Lennox Island, the Brittania Hall Theatre and the Palmyra Trail.
